How does it work?

Kybella, as known as deoxycholic acid, is a naturally occurring molecule that leads to the breakdown of fat. Once injected underneath your chin, Kybella causes destruction of fat cells, which are then removed from your body. This leads to a permanent reduction of fat underneath your chin. 

Are there side effects?

The most common side effects include swelling and mild tenderness, which resolve within 1-2 weeks.  

How many treatments sessions are needed?

At least two sessions are needed to see results, and most patients typically require 2-4 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
